Bikes are great - We love bikes - but Bike Stories isn’t just about the bike, it's about what happens to you on your journey, your story. Storytelling can be many things, but we think it’s about authenticity, vulnerability, and embracing community. When we tell stories; We bear witness to each other's lives, we understand people on a deeper level, and maybe we understand ourselves on a deeper level too. Bike stories is about connecting people through storytelling, showing the impact the bicycle has on folks and showcasing what 2nd cycle has done and can do for our community. It’s about celebrating our work and affirming support to raise the funds needed to do the work.
Join us for an evening of storytelling to help fund the important work that Second Cycle does for our community. The goal of this event is to support and continue our programs below:
- Earn a Bike - A six session earning and learning course where youth learn how to rebuild a bike
- Summer Urban Bike Camp
